Heather has taught throughout the USA and performed at many international events and dance conventions.

Belly Dance, Ballet, and Polynesian were the first classes she trained in and that was only the beginning!

Continuing her training helped to lay the solid dance foundation along with her studies would later become the backbone of what TEMPO formerly AIM DANCE ACADEMY stands for. Educating dancers in several forms of dance resulting in a well-rounded and unique performer.

Many of her students have gone to dance competitions and won awards and special recognition. Some continue their careers at prestigious dance companies and theatrical colleges. Many of her students have

 studied and auditioned for the Pittsburgh Ballet, American Ballet, NYC Ballet, and Kansas City Ballet.

 Ballet students of Tempo (AIM) also have competed at the YAGP Ballet Competition.

Heather ( Sherena) is also a well-known Belly Dance workshop instructor and performer.

Heather Sherena coaches throughout the U.S. Many of her students hold titles and

placed in the top 5 at several well-known belly dance festivals and competitions in Ohio, Pittsburgh, Washington DC., Texas and Greece.

Heather was also the first dance studio to feature youth Belly Dance at the annual All Ohio Dance Festival in Cleveland.

Stretching her choreography creativity from the Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary into the world of other dance forms, such as

Tahitian, Flamenco and Belly Dance Fusion - Abrams has had several first-place recognitions and choreography.

As Heather looks towards the future of TDC, she is dedicated to bringing unique and fun fitness classes to the community while at the same time continuing to educate the youth in the highest quality of dance education in all styles from ballet to international dance.
